CONCURRENT RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, Many college graduates struggle to find work in
their chosen profession, and a study to determine which degree
plans are most likely to result in employment opportunities could
provide valuable information to the state; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the 84th Legislature of the State of Texas
hereby direct the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board to
conduct a study to examine the jobs that college graduates are able
to attain in their degree field within two years of graduation and
how effective it may be to use this information to reappropriate
funding to colleges; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That the secretary of state forward an official
copy of this resolution to the chair of the Texas Higher Education
  Coordinating Board.
