R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
WHEREAS, Dale Warren of Stephenville retired as chief |
|
juvenile probation officer for Erath County on December 31, 2014, |
|
concluding an outstanding tenure of three decades in that position; |
|
and |
|
WHEREAS, A graduate of Southern Methodist University, where |
|
he earned both his bachelor's and master's degrees, Mr. Warren has |
|
devoted a lifetime to the field of public service; before assuming |
|
his present office, he worked for 10 years in the state's mental |
|
health and mental retardation system, and he often drew on his |
|
expertise in mental health issues while working with the |
|
probationers under his supervision; and |
|
WHEREAS, In all his endeavors, this esteemed Texan has |
|
enjoyed the love and support of his wife, Susy; during retirement, |
|
he hopes to continue to prepare social and home studies for state |
|
district court adoption and custody dispute cases; and |
|
WHEREAS, Deeply committed to his work, Dale Warren helped |
|
countless youth in the juvenile justice system to find their |
|
footing and go on to build more productive and rewarding lives, and |
|
his contributions will continue to benefit area citizens for years |
|
to come; now, therefore, be it |
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas |
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Dale Warren on the occasion of his |
|
retirement as chief juvenile probation officer for Erath County and |
|
extend to him sincere best wishes for the future; and, be it further |
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
prepared for Mr. Warren as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
House of Representatives. |
