R E S O L U T I O N
 
         WHEREAS, Ride On Center for Kids in Georgetown has been
  presented with a Journey to Excellence Award by the Williamson
  County Institute for Excellence in Nonprofits, and this achievement
  indeed merits special recognition; and
         WHEREAS, The Williamson County Institute for Excellence in
  Nonprofits, which provides pro bono organizational assistance to
  local service groups, established the awards program to honor
  initiatives that have started down the road to higher efficiency
  and effectiveness; and
         WHEREAS, Under the leadership of chief executive officer
  Nancy O'Meara, Ride On Center for Kids is a hippotherapy facility
  that helps physically, cognitively, and emotionally disabled
  clients improve their abilities by riding and working with horses;
  this empowering opportunity is available to children, adults, and
  wounded veterans; and
         WHEREAS, Ride On Center for Kids is dedicated to ensuring the
  independence and improving the life skills of its participants, and
  it is a pleasure to join in recognizing the program's latest
  achievement; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas
  Legislature hereby congratulate Ride On Center for Kids for its
  receipt of the Journey to Excellence Award and extend to its staff
  and clients sincere best wishes for continued success in their
  important work; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for the center as an expression of high regard by the Texas
  House of Representatives.
