R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Texas State Technical College in Waco has deservedly |
|
|
been awarded a grant by the U.S. Department of Labor, and this |
|
|
achievement will greatly benefit many students; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Totaling more than $2.7 million over four years, |
|
|
this grant will provide opportunities for students to receive job |
|
|
training for Texas' growing manufacturing sector through the |
|
|
school's Accelerated Career Educational Pathway Program; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Texas State Technical College is committed to |
|
|
helping its students become leaders in tomorrow's workforce, and |
|
|
its latest efforts will further its contribution to the economic |
|
|
prosperity of our state; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Texas State Technical College on |
|
|
its receipt of a grant from the U.S. Department of Labor and extend |
|
|
to its faculty, staff, and administration sincere best wishes for |
|
|
continued success in their important work; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for the institution as an expression of high regard by the |
|
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
