R E S O L U T I O N

|
|
WHEREAS, November 25, 2014, marked the 50th wedding |
|
|
anniversary of Charles and Nancy Danley of Midland, providing a |
|
|
fitting opportunity to reflect on their memorable journey together |
|
|
as husband and wife; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Danley were joined in matrimony at |
|
|
Calvary Baptist Church in Lubbock on that memorable day in 1964; |
|
|
they take pride in a fine family that includes their two children |
|
|
and their spouses, Susan McClendon and her husband, Greg, and David |
|
|
Danley and his wife, Karisa, as well as four grandchildren, Megan, |
|
|
Lauren, Blair, and Mason, with whom they treasure spending many |
|
|
special occasions; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Respected members of their community, Mr. Danley |
|
|
enjoyed a successful career in the banking industry and Mrs. Danley |
|
|
is a retired educator; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Looking back over the past 50 years, Charles and |
|
|
Nancy Danley can savor a wealth of cherished memories and know that |
|
|
the strength of their love and commitment ensures that many more |
|
|
joyful times await them; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Charles and Nancy Danley on their |
|
|
golden wedding anniversary and extend to them sincere best wishes |
|
|
for continued happiness; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Danley as an expression of high regard by |
|
|
the Texas House of Representatives. |
