R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, The orderly functioning of the Texas House of |
|
|
Representatives is facilitated by the diligent efforts of the |
|
|
hard-working individuals who staff the parking areas and garages at |
|
|
the State Capitol; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, These conscientious employees of the office of the |
|
|
house sergeant-at-arms are responsible for safeguarding the |
|
|
vehicles of legislators and guaranteeing the availability of their |
|
|
parking spaces; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, The house parking attendants include Jerry Amaya of |
|
|
Lot 25, Juan Marinez of Lot 11, Billy Moore of the P1 Extension |
|
|
Garage, Ralph Rios Jr. of the West Drive, Richard Robinson of the |
|
|
North Drive, Rudell Roe of the P2 Extension Garage, and Howard |
|
|
Seymour of Lot 8; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Through their exemplary dedication, these staff |
|
|
members help to ensure the successful day-to-day operations of the |
|
|
Texas House of Representatives, and they may indeed take pride in a |
|
|
job well done; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby commend the parking attendants of the office of |
|
|
the house sergeant-at-arms for their exceptional work and extend to |
|
|
them sincere best wishes for the future; and, be it further |
|
|
|
|
|
RESOLVED, That official copies of this resolution be prepared |
|
|
for them as an expression of high regard by the Texas House of |
|
|
Representatives. |
