R E S O L U T I O N

|
WHEREAS, Joshua Landa, a junior at Foy H. Moody High School in |
|
|
Corpus Christi, has been named to the 2015 Texas Music Educators |
|
|
Association All-State Men's Choir; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, The son of proud parents Juan and Anna Landa, |
|
|
Mr. Landa earned this prestigious honor with outstanding auditions |
|
|
at the district, region, and area levels; with his selection, he |
|
|
will have the opportunity to perform in concert at the annual TMEA |
|
|
Clinic and Convention in San Antonio on February 14, 2015; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, The hard work and ability of this talented young |
|
|
Texan have placed him among the state's elite high school |
|
|
vocalists, and he may indeed reflect with pride on his remarkable |
|
|
accomplishment; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Joshua Landa on his selection to |
|
|
the 2015 TMEA All-State Men's Choir and extend to him sincere best |
|
|
wishes for continued success; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. Landa as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
