R E S O L U T I O N
 
         WHEREAS, Dr. Dale Talbert, the senior pastor at Fellowship of
  Montgomery, served as Pastor of the Day for the Texas House of
  Representatives on January 21, 2015; and
         WHEREAS, The son of Alvin and Marjorie Talbert, Dale Talbert
  was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma, on June 28, 1967; after graduating from
  Claremore High School, he went on to earn an associate's degree from
  Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College and a bachelor's degree from
  Oklahoma State University; he later enrolled at Southwestern
  Baptist Theological Seminary, where he completed his master's and
  doctoral degrees; and
         WHEREAS, This respected religious leader began his career in
  the ministry in 1997 as an associate pastor at First Baptist Church
  of Conroe, and he continued in that role for 12 years; since 2009,
  he has guided the congregation at Fellowship of Montgomery, where
  his dedication, compassion, and leadership have greatly benefited
  the church membership as well as the wider community; and
         WHEREAS, Dr. Talbert exemplifies the highest ideals of his
  vocation, and through the years, he has inspired numerous Texans
  with his messages of faith and goodwill; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas
  Legislature hereby honor Dr. Dale Talbert for his service as Pastor
  of the Day and extend to him sincere best wishes for continued
  success in his important work; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for Dr. Talbert as an expression of high regard by the
  Texas House of Representatives.
