R E S O L U T I O N

|
WHEREAS, Waco High School educator Ramiro Salazar has been |
|
|
named the 2014 Region 3 Assistant Coach of the Year by the Texas |
|
|
Association of Soccer Coaches; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Coach Salazar has distinguished himself through his |
|
|
contributions to the Waco High soccer program, in which his |
|
|
responsibilities include overseeing the Lions junior varsity |
|
|
squad; a respected member of the school faculty, he also serves as |
|
|
an assistant coach for the football team and teaches Spanish; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, In claiming this prestigious honor, Coach Salazar |
|
|
has become the first individual in school history to be recognized |
|
|
by TASCO as the region's most outstanding assistant coach; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Ramiro Salazar's leadership and commitment to |
|
|
excellence have resulted in an admirable record of achievement at |
|
|
Waco High School, and his inspired guidance has helped his young |
|
|
athletes to realize their full potential; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Ramiro Salazar on his selection as |
|
|
the 2014 TASCO Region 3 Assistant Coach of the Year and extend to |
|
|
him sincere best wishes for continued success; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Coach Salazar as an expression of high regard by the |
|
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
