R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Don and Billie Gilbreath of Mineola celebrated their |
|
|
50th wedding anniversary on August 18, 2014, and they may indeed |
|
|
reflect with joy on the rewarding relationship they have shared; |
|
|
and |
|
|
WHEREAS, On that memorable day in 1964, Mr. and |
|
|
Mrs. Gilbreath exchanged the vows of matrimony in Midland, and over |
|
|
the course of their marriage, they have found in each other a loving |
|
|
life partner; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Gilbreath count among their blessings |
|
|
a fine family that includes their children, Mark, Don, Billy, Andy, |
|
|
and Toni, as well as their 15 grandchildren and 2 |
|
|
great-grandchildren, with whom they treasure spending many special |
|
|
occasions; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, For half a century, Don and Billie Gilbreath have |
|
|
brought to their marriage laughter, kindness, and devotion, and it |
|
|
is a pleasure to honor them for their enduring commitment; now, |
|
|
therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Don and Billie Gilbreath on their |
|
|
50th wedding anniversary and extend to them sincere best wishes for |
|
|
continued happiness; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for the couple as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
