R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Johnnie and Jan Stone of Emory celebrated their 50th |
|
|
wedding anniversary on July 4, 2014, and they may indeed reflect |
|
|
with joy on the rewarding relationship they have shared; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, On that memorable day in 1964, Mr. and Mrs. Stone |
|
|
exchanged the vows of matrimony at Yuba Baptist Church in Yuba, |
|
|
Oklahoma, and over the course of their marriage, they have found in |
|
|
each other a loving life partner; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Stone count among their blessings a |
|
|
fine family that includes their children, Jeannie, Johnnie and his |
|
|
wife, Dani, and Sylvia, as well as their grandchildren, Kirbee, |
|
|
Karlee, Kallie, Aubrey, Braelie, and Connor, with whom they |
|
|
treasure spending many special occasions; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, For half a century, Johnnie and Jan Stone have |
|
|
brought to their marriage laughter, kindness, and devotion, and it |
|
|
is a pleasure to honor them for their enduring commitment; now, |
|
|
therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Johnnie and Jan Stone on their |
|
|
golden wedding anniversary and extend to them sincere best wishes |
|
|
for continued happiness; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for the couple as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
