R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, Family and friends will long cherish their memories
  of Carrol Treadaway of Mineola, who passed away on July 20, 2014, at
  the age of 82; and
         WHEREAS, Born on February 14, 1932, in Plainview, Oklahoma,
  Mr. Treadaway was the son of Carl and Cora Treadaway; a longtime
  resident of Mineola, he owned the Petroleum Service Company and was
  a member of the First United Methodist Church of Mineola; and
         WHEREAS, In all his endeavors, Mr. Treadaway enjoyed the love
  and support of his wife of 53 years, Jeanette; the devoted father of
  a daughter, Phyllis, he was also the stepfather of Kent Burks, Gayle
  Divelbiss, and the late Neil Burks and Gary Divelbiss, and he
  further welcomed two more generations into his family as a proud
  grandfather; and
         WHEREAS, Carrol Treadaway led a life that was rich in the
  intangibles that matter most, and he is deeply missed by all those
  who held him dear; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas
  Legislature hereby pay tribute to the memory of Carrol Treadaway
  and extend sincere sympathy to the members of his family: to his
  wife, Jeanette Treadaway; to his daughter, Phyllis Riley; to his
  stepchildren, Kent Burks and Gayle Divelbiss; to his 8
  grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren; and to his other
  relatives and friends; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for his family and that when the Texas House of
  Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Carrol
  Treadaway.
