R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, Regina Boutte retired from the Spring Independent
  School District in January 2015, following nearly a quarter-century
  of outstanding service; and
         WHEREAS, Ms. Boutte began her career in education in 1991,
  when she joined the faculty at Bammel Elementary School; she taught
  there for several years and later became an assistant principal at
  Oak Creek Elementary and Heritage Elementary Schools; she served as
  principal at Thompson Elementary School from 2001 to 2004 before
  taking over as Spring ISD's associate superintendent of public
  relations, community engagement, and quality improvement; she had
  most recently held the titles of chief communications officer and
  chief of special projects for Spring ISD; and
         WHEREAS, Throughout her remarkable tenure, Ms. Boutte worked
  diligently to foster a supportive and challenging learning
  environment within Spring ISD schools; in the process, she earned
  the admiration and respect of students and colleagues alike; and
         WHEREAS, Regina Boutte has demonstrated exemplary leadership
  and dedication during her 24 years as an educator, and her
  contributions to Spring ISD have had a positive and lasting
  influence on the lives of countless students; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas
  Legislature hereby congratulate Regina Boutte on her retirement
  from the Spring ISD and extend to her sincere best wishes for
  continued success; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for Ms. Boutte as an expression of high regard by the Texas
  House of Representatives.
