R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, Josh Schroeder has been named the 2014 Citizen of
  the Year by the Georgetown Chamber of Commerce; and
         WHEREAS, A truly deserving recipient, Mr. Schroeder, an
  attorney with Sneed, Vine, and Perry, volunteers with many
  worthwhile organizations in the city; he currently serves as chair
  of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes Booster Club, and he is on
  the board of Brookwood in Georgetown, a community for adults with
  disabilities; additionally, he is active with the local Boys and
  Girls Club, and after serving on the Zoning Board of Adjustment, he
  is the commissioner-in-training for the Georgetown Planning and
  Zoning Commission; and
         WHEREAS, Previously, Mr. Schroeder was a board member of the
  Downtown Rotary Club, and he was president of the board of The
  Caring Place and Georgetown Partners in Education; in all his
  endeavors, he enjoys the love and support of his wife, Ashley, and
  their two sons; and
         WHEREAS, The vitality of a city depends in large measure on
  the dedication and leadership of its residents, and Josh Schroeder
  is setting an example of civic engagement to which others may
  aspire; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas
  Legislature hereby congratulate Josh Schroeder on being named the
  2014 Citizen of the Year by the Georgetown Chamber of Commerce and
  extend to him sincere best wishes for the future; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for Mr. Schroeder as an expression of high regard by the
  Texas House of Representatives.
