R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Curtis Wren has deservedly been named Volunteer of |
|
|
the Year by the Georgetown Chamber of Commerce, and this |
|
|
achievement indeed merits special recognition; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, A chamber member since March 2014, Mr. Wren is a |
|
|
fitting recipient of this notable honor; in the past year, he has |
|
|
served on the banquet planning committee and volunteered to assist |
|
|
with a number of the organization's initiatives, including new |
|
|
member and business showcases, member orientation, and the |
|
|
Bar-Bid-Cue auction; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Those individuals who give generously of their time |
|
|
and talents strengthen the communities in which they live, and it is |
|
|
a pleasure to recognize Curtis Wren for his contributions to the |
|
|
greater good; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Curtis Wren on his selection as |
|
|
Volunteer of the Year by the Georgetown Chamber of Commerce and |
|
|
extend to him sincere best wishes for the future; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. Wren as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
