R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Larry Lamb was honored as Officer of the Year of the |
|
|
Burnet Police Department at the Hill Country 100 Club |
|
|
Membership/Awards Banquet on January 15, 2015; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Founded in 2002, the Hill Country 100 Club provides |
|
|
valuable support to first responders in Central Texas; each year, |
|
|
the organization's awards banquet honors outstanding peace |
|
|
officers, firefighters, emergency medical personnel, and support |
|
|
staff in Burnet, Llano, Blanco, and Lampasas Counties; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Larry Lamb has served as a school resource officer |
|
|
for the Burnet Police Department since the position was created in |
|
|
2013; in fulfilling his duties, this esteemed law enforcement |
|
|
professional has provided a vital service for area citizens while |
|
|
garnering the respect and admiration of school personnel and |
|
|
students alike; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Through his dedication to protecting the public, |
|
|
Larry Lamb exemplifies the highest ideals of his profession and |
|
|
contributes immeasurably to the safety and well-being of his fellow |
|
|
citizens; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Larry Lamb on his selection as the |
|
|
Hill Country 100 Club Officer of the Year for the Burnet Police |
|
|
Department and extend to him sincere best wishes for continued |
|
|
success with his important work; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Officer Lamb as an expression of high regard by the |
|
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
