R E S O L U T I O N

|
|
WHEREAS, Stacy Baker was honored as the Support Person of the |
|
|
Year of the Marble Falls Police Department at the Hill Country 100 |
|
|
Club Membership/Awards Banquet on January 15, 2015; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Founded in 2002, the Hill Country 100 Club provides |
|
|
valuable support to first responders in Central Texas; each year, |
|
|
the organization's awards banquet honors outstanding peace |
|
|
officers, firefighters, emergency medical personnel, and support |
|
|
staff in Burnet, Llano, Blanco, and Lampasas Counties; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Ms. Baker has garnered 16 years of experience in |
|
|
public safety communications by working for departments in Leander, |
|
|
Williamson County, and Cedar Park; since September 2012, she has |
|
|
been the communications manager for the Marble Falls Police |
|
|
Department; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Through her skill and dedication to duty, Stacy |
|
|
Baker exemplifies the highest ideals of the emergency services |
|
|
profession and contributes immeasurably to the safety and |
|
|
well-being of her fellow citizens; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Stacy Baker on her selection as the |
|
|
Hill Country 100 Club Support Person of the Year of the Marble Falls |
|
|
Police Department and extend to her sincere best wishes for |
|
|
continued success with her important work; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Ms. Baker as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
