R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, Pam Gower was honored as Emergency Medical
  Technician of the Year of Marble Falls Area Emergency Medical
  Services at the Hill Country 100 Club Membership/Awards Banquet on
  January 15, 2015; and
         WHEREAS, Founded in 2002, the Hill Country 100 Club provides
  valuable support to first responders in Central Texas; each year,
  the organization's awards banquet honors outstanding peace
  officers, firefighters, emergency medical personnel, and support
  staff in Burnet, Llano, Blanco, and Lampasas Counties; and
         WHEREAS, After moving to the Highland Lakes area from
  Missouri in 1991, Ms. Gower volunteered with Marble Falls EMS for
  17 years before becoming a full-time staff member; and
         WHEREAS, Through her skill and dedication to duty, Pam Gower
  exemplifies the highest ideals of the emergency services profession
  and contributes immeasurably to the safety and well-being of her
  fellow citizens; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas
  Legislature hereby congratulate Pam Gower on her selection as the
  Hill Country 100 Club EMT of the Year of Marble Falls EMS and extend
  to her sincere best wishes for continued success with her important
  work; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for Ms. Gower as an expression of high regard by the Texas
  House of Representatives.
