R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Pam Gower was honored as Emergency Medical |
|
|
Technician of the Year of Marble Falls Area Emergency Medical |
|
|
Services at the Hill Country 100 Club Membership/Awards Banquet on |
|
|
January 15, 2015; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Founded in 2002, the Hill Country 100 Club provides |
|
|
valuable support to first responders in Central Texas; each year, |
|
|
the organization's awards banquet honors outstanding peace |
|
|
officers, firefighters, emergency medical personnel, and support |
|
|
staff in Burnet, Llano, Blanco, and Lampasas Counties; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, After moving to the Highland Lakes area from |
|
|
Missouri in 1991, Ms. Gower volunteered with Marble Falls EMS for |
|
|
17 years before becoming a full-time staff member; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Through her skill and dedication to duty, Pam Gower |
|
|
exemplifies the highest ideals of the emergency services profession |
|
|
and contributes immeasurably to the safety and well-being of her |
|
|
fellow citizens; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Pam Gower on her selection as the |
|
|
Hill Country 100 Club EMT of the Year of Marble Falls EMS and extend |
|
|
to her sincere best wishes for continued success with her important |
|
|
work; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Ms. Gower as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
