R E S O L U T I O N

|
|
WHEREAS, Ricky Bindseil was honored as the Officer of the |
|
|
Year of the Burnet County Sheriff's Office at the Hill Country 100 |
|
|
Club Membership/Awards Banquet on January 15, 2015; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Founded in 2002, the Hill Country 100 Club provides |
|
|
valuable support to first responders in Central Texas; each year, |
|
|
the organization's awards banquet honors outstanding peace |
|
|
officers, firefighters, emergency medical personnel, and support |
|
|
staff in Burnet, Llano, Blanco, and Lampasas Counties; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Ricky Bindseil has distinguished himself over the |
|
|
course of a 16-year career in law enforcement, and he has ably |
|
|
served as a member of the Burnet County Sheriff's Office for the |
|
|
past six years; he brought to his current post a wealth of |
|
|
experience garnered during previous tenures with the Burnet Police |
|
|
Department, the Marble Falls Police Department, and the Burnet |
|
|
County Jail; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Through his dedication to duty, Ricky Bindseil |
|
|
exemplifies the highest ideals of his profession and contributes |
|
|
immeasurably to the safety and well-being of his fellow citizens; |
|
|
now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Ricky Bindseil on his selection as |
|
|
the Hill Country 100 Club Officer of the Year for the Burnet County |
|
|
Sheriff's Office and extend to him sincere best wishes for |
|
|
continued success with his important work; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Officer Bindseil as an expression of high regard by the |
|
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
