R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, Civic and business leaders from Sunnyvale are
  gathering in Austin on March 19, 2015, to celebrate Sunnyvale Day at
  the State Capitol; and
         WHEREAS, Located 15 miles east of downtown Dallas, Sunnyvale
  is situated on more than 10,000 acres of rolling plains and offers
  the amenities of city life and the charm of country life; and
         WHEREAS, The town is a vibrant community of over 5,000
  residents who greatly value the Sunnyvale Independent School
  District and its legacy of providing an environment of academic
  excellence and the creation of lifelong learners; and
         WHEREAS, Working to promote economic diversity and
  prosperity, residents take special pride in recent successes in
  attracting new businesses, including Millard Refrigeration and
  Texas Regional Medical Center, while supporting the expansion of
  longtime corporate citizens such as American Marazzi Tile; and
         WHEREAS, Sunnyvale Day at the State Capitol offers
  participants the opportunity to learn more about state government
  and to promote the assets and quality of life that make Sunnyvale an
  outstanding place to live, work, and raise a family; now,
  therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas
  Legislature hereby recognize March 19, 2015, as Sunnyvale Day at
  the State Capitol and commend Sunnyvale residents for their
  contributions to the Lone Star State.
