R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Carey Headrick was honored as Officer of the Year of |
|
|
the Bertram Police Department at the Hill Country 100 Club |
|
|
Membership/Awards Banquet on January 15, 2015; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Founded in 2002, the Hill Country 100 Club provides |
|
|
valuable support to first responders in Central Texas; each year, |
|
|
the organization's awards banquet honors outstanding peace |
|
|
officers, firefighters, emergency medical personnel, and support |
|
|
staff in Burnet, Llano, Blanco, and Lampasas Counties; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Carey Headrick has more than three decades of |
|
|
experience in law enforcement, and he has been a sworn officer for |
|
|
the past 15 years; with expertise in investigating crimes against |
|
|
children, he has played a prominent role in helping to protect this |
|
|
vulnerable population; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Through his dedication to duty, Carey Headrick |
|
|
exemplifies the highest ideals of his profession and contributes |
|
|
immeasurably to the safety and well-being of his fellow citizens; |
|
|
now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Carey Headrick on his selection as |
|
|
the Hill Country 100 Club Officer of the Year for the Bertram Police |
|
|
Department and extend to him sincere best wishes for continued |
|
|
success with his important work; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Officer Headrick as an expression of high regard by the |
|
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
