R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Jason Hardison was honored as the Firefighter of the |
|
|
Year of Burnet Fire and EMS at the Hill Country 100 Club |
|
|
Membership/Awards Banquet on January 15, 2015; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Founded in 2002, the Hill Country 100 Club provides |
|
|
valuable support to first responders in Central Texas; each year, |
|
|
the organization's awards banquet honors outstanding peace |
|
|
officers, firefighters, emergency medical personnel, and support |
|
|
staff in Burnet, Llano, Blanco, and Lampasas Counties; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Mr. Hardison has volunteered with Burnet Fire and |
|
|
EMS for two years; a self-employed mechanic, he serves as the |
|
|
department's maintenance officer, and he is also currently enrolled |
|
|
in an EMT course; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Through his skill and dedication to duty, Jason |
|
|
Hardison has contributed immeasurably to the safety and well-being |
|
|
of his fellow citizens, and he may indeed reflect with pride on his |
|
|
exceptional service; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Jason Hardison on his selection as |
|
|
the Hill Country 100 Club Firefighter of the Year of Burnet Fire and |
|
|
EMS and extend to him sincere best wishes for continued success with |
|
|
his important work; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. Hardison as an expression of high regard by the |
|
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
