R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Bobby Amick was honored as the Volunteer Firefighter |
|
|
of the Year of the Cottonwood Shores Volunteer Fire Department at |
|
|
the Hill Country 100 Club Membership/Awards Banquet on January 15, |
|
|
2015; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Founded in 2002, the Hill Country 100 Club provides |
|
|
valuable support to first responders in Central Texas; each year, |
|
|
the organization's awards banquet honors outstanding peace |
|
|
officers, firefighters, emergency medical personnel, and support |
|
|
staff in Burnet, Llano, Blanco, and Lampasas Counties; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Mr. Amick has served with Cottonwood Shores VFD for |
|
|
a year and a half, and he is currently working at H-E-B while |
|
|
attending EMT school; in all his endeavors, he enjoys the love and |
|
|
support of his wife, Lauren, and daughter, Hannah; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Through his skill and dedication to duty, Bobby |
|
|
Amick has contributed immeasurably to the safety and well-being of |
|
|
his fellow citizens, and he may indeed reflect with pride on his |
|
|
exceptional service; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Bobby Amick on his selection as the |
|
|
Hill Country 100 Club Volunteer Firefighter of the Year of the |
|
|
Cottonwood Shores Volunteer Fire Department and extend to him |
|
|
sincere best wishes for continued success with his important work; |
|
|
and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. Amick as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
