R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Nowell Maluski was honored as the Firefighter of the |
|
|
Year of the East Lake Buchanan Volunteer Fire Department at the Hill |
|
|
Country 100 Club Membership/Awards Banquet on January 15, 2015; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Founded in 2002, the Hill Country 100 Club provides |
|
|
valuable support to first responders in Central Texas; each year, |
|
|
the organization's awards banquet honors outstanding peace |
|
|
officers, firefighters, emergency medical personnel, and support |
|
|
staff in Burnet, Llano, Blanco, and Lampasas Counties; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Mr. Maluski has served with the East Lake Buchanan |
|
|
VFD for three and a half years; most recently he has benefited the |
|
|
department by helping to transform a retired military vehicle into |
|
|
a functional fire truck; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Through his skill and dedication to duty, Nowell |
|
|
Maluski has contributed immeasurably to the safety and well-being |
|
|
of his fellow citizens, and he may indeed reflect with pride on his |
|
|
exceptional service; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Nowell Maluski on his selection as |
|
|
the Hill Country 100 Club Firefighter of the Year of the East Lake |
|
|
Buchanan Volunteer Fire Department and extend to him sincere best |
|
|
wishes for continued success with his important work; and, be it |
|
|
further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. Maluski as an expression of high regard by the |
|
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
