R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, Residents of Throckmorton County lost an admired
  community leader with the passing of Wilton Ernest Cantrell of
  Elbert on January 26, 2015, at the age of 72; and
         WHEREAS, Wilton Cantrell was born in Hog Creek on September
  10, 1942, to Raymond and Emma Cantrell; he served with the United
  States Army during the Korean and Vietnam Wars, and after returning
  to civilian life made his living as a farmer and rancher in Elbert;
  he was elected county commissioner of Precinct 4 in Throckmorton
  County; and
         WHEREAS, The father of two children, Christopher and Kaylee,
  Mr. Cantrell later welcomed into his family two grandchildren,
  Taylor and Ace; and
         WHEREAS, Wilton Cantrell served his country and his community
  with great dedication, and he is deeply missed by all those who had
  the good fortune to know him; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas
  Legislature hereby pay tribute to the memory of Wilton Ernest
  Cantrell and extend sincere sympathy to the members of his family:
  to his daughter, Kaylee Cadotte, and her husband, Andrew; to his
  grandchildren, Taylor and Ace Cadotte; to his sister-in-law, Leona
  Hickam; and to his other relatives and friends; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for his family and that when the Texas House of
  Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Wilton
  Ernest Cantrell.
