R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, S & J Bakery in Corpus Christi is celebrating the
  20th anniversary of its founding in November 2015; and
         WHEREAS, Siblings Susan Wright and Jason Cox opened S & J
  Bakery on November 17, 1995, in a small, one-room building; since
  then, the enterprise has grown to employ 12 people and now occupies
  a 2,400-square-foot space with a dining room and drive-through; and
         WHEREAS, Using family recipes, S & J Bakery has become known
  for its kolaches, "hogs in the blanket," and daily lunch specials;
  the bakery has won the loyalty of many area residents over the
  years, including a group of regulars who come by for coffee so
  frequently that they have their own table; and
         WHEREAS, Locally owned and operated businesses play an
  important role in furthering the economic well-being of towns
  throughout Texas, and Susan Wright, Jason Cox, and their employees
  may take great pride in the contributions that the bakery has made
  to the Corpus Christi community over the past two decades; now,
  therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas
  Legislature hereby commemorate the 20th anniversary of S & J Bakery
  and extend to all those associated with the company sincere best
  wishes for the future; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for S & J Bakery as an expression of high regard by the
  Texas House of Representatives.
