R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
WHEREAS, The loved ones of Jose Santos Jr. of Brownsville |
|
were greatly saddened by his passing on December 29, 2014, at the |
|
age of 77; and |
|
WHEREAS, Born to Jose and Tomasa Santos, Jose Santos Jr. was |
|
one of 10 brothers and sisters; he married Alejandra Santos, and the |
|
couple shared a rewarding union until her passing; and |
|
WHEREAS, Through the years, this devoted patriarch served as |
|
a source of affection and inspiration to his family, which included |
|
three children, Lionel, Juan Jose, and Lydia; and |
|
WHEREAS, Jose Santos enjoyed a life that was rich in the |
|
intangibles that matter most, and he is deeply missed by all those |
|
who held him dear; now, therefore, be it |
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas |
|
Legislature hereby pay tribute to the life of Jose Santos Jr. and |
|
extend sincere sympathy to the members of his family: to his sons, |
|
Lionel Santos and Juan Jose Santos; to his daughter, Lydia |
|
Santos-Carlock; to his brothers, Raul, Tomas, Manuel, and Samuel |
|
Santos; to his sister, Ana S. Herrera; and to his other relatives |
|
and many friends; and, be it further |
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
prepared for his family and that when the Texas House of |
|
Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Jose Santos |
|
Jr. |
