R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Members of the Collin County Young Republicans have |
|
|
demonstrated an outstanding commitment to political engagement in |
|
|
their community; and |
|
|
|
|
|
WHEREAS, With a membership that ranges in age from 18 to 40, |
|
|
the Collin County Young Republicans is a volunteer service |
|
|
organization for young conservative professionals dedicated to |
|
|
advancing the principles of the Republican Party; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, These motivated men and women have worked tirelessly |
|
|
in behalf of candidates for local, state, and national office, and |
|
|
they have helped to promote political awareness and involvement in |
|
|
Collin County by persuading residents that their participation in |
|
|
public affairs is vital; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, The members of the Collin County Young Republicans |
|
|
have set an admirable example of civic engagement, and they may |
|
|
reflect with great pride on their many worthwhile contributions; |
|
|
now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby honor members of the Collin County Young |
|
|
Republicans for their exceptional efforts in the civic realm and |
|
|
extend to them sincere best wishes for the future; and, be it |
|
|
further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for the group as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
