R E S O L U T I O N
|

|
|
WHEREAS, Allison Ainsworth has ably served her fellow Texans |
|
|
as an intern in the office of State Representative Scott Sanford |
|
|
during the 84th Legislative Session; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Ms. Ainsworth has |
|
|
contributed to the workings of state government firsthand; in |
|
|
addition to gaining valuable experience in the field of public |
|
|
service, she has learned more about the legislative process and the |
|
|
issues facing citizens of the Lone Star State; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, A graduate of McKinney High School, Ms. Ainsworth |
|
|
currently attends The University of Texas at Austin, where she is |
|
|
pursuing a bachelor's degree in political communications; she has |
|
|
received scholarships from the McKinney Education Foundation and |
|
|
the Torchmark Corporation, and she serves as a representative for |
|
|
the UT Student Government Assembly and as a member of the external |
|
|
affairs committee; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, This outstanding young Texan has performed her |
|
|
duties as a legislative intern with skill and dedication, and she is |
|
|
indeed deserving of special recognition for her fine work; now, |
|
|
therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby commend Allison Ainsworth for her service as a |
|
|
legislative intern in the office of State Representative Scott |
|
|
Sanford and extend to her sincere best wishes for continued success |
|
|
in all her endeavors; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Ms. Ainsworth as an expression of high regard by the |
|
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
