R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Viviana Rendon of the Jorge R. Gutierrez Early |
|
|
Childhood Center has been named the 2014-2015 Campus Teacher of the |
|
|
Year; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, A solid education provides young Texans with the |
|
|
tools they need to become successful and productive adults, and |
|
|
those men and women who dedicate their careers to teaching are |
|
|
helping to ensure that the future of the Lone Star State rests in |
|
|
capable hands; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Serving as role models, motivators, listeners, and |
|
|
mentors, the best teachers bring to the classroom creativity, |
|
|
energy, and resourcefulness, inspiring in their students a love of |
|
|
learning that will serve them well throughout their lives; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Viviana Rendon exemplifies the qualities that are |
|
|
the hallmarks of a great teacher, and in so doing, she has earned |
|
|
the respect and admiration of her colleagues and students alike; |
|
|
now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Viviana Rendon of the Jorge |
|
|
R. Gutierrez Early Childhood Center on her selection as the |
|
|
2014-2015 Campus Teacher of the Year and extend to her sincere best |
|
|
wishes for continued success with her important work; and, be it |
|
|
further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Ms. Rendon as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
