R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Jason Edmondson was named the Outstanding Youth of |
|
|
the Year at the Burnet Chamber of Commerce annual awards banquet on |
|
|
February 7, 2015; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Each year, the Burnet chamber recognizes |
|
|
individuals and businesses for their outstanding achievements and |
|
|
for their efforts to benefit the local community; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Mr. Edmondson is a senior at Burnet High School, |
|
|
where he is in the top one percent of his class; he has served the |
|
|
Esprit de Corps as section leader, vice president, and president, |
|
|
and he has been president and treasurer of the National Honor |
|
|
Society; recognized for his accomplishments, he was named September |
|
|
Student of the Month by the BCISD board; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Through his exceptional contributions, Jason |
|
|
Edmondson has furthered Burnet's reputation as a great place to |
|
|
live, work, and raise a family, and he is indeed deserving of this |
|
|
notable honor; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Jason Edmondson on his selection as |
|
|
the Outstanding Youth of the Year by the Burnet Chamber of Commerce |
|
|
and extend to him sincere best wishes for continued success; and, be |
|
|
it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. Edmondson as an expression of high regard by the |
|
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
