R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, Keric Donahue-Per
  ez of Waco, a fourth-grade student
  at Alta Vista Elementary School, has demonstrated great
  consideration of others through his honorable action; and
         WHEREAS, Keric's teacher, Devin Culpepper, keeps a classroom
  library that contains personal books from her childhood; Keric
  recently borrowed one such book and was surprised to find $215
  inside, a long-lost Christmas present that Ms. Culpepper had
  received when she was nine years old; though he could have easily
  kept the money without anyone's knowing, Keric returned it to his
  teacher the following day; and
         WHEREAS, Through his admirable behavior, Keric Donahue-Perez
  has set an outstanding example for persons of all ages, and it is
  indeed appropriate that he be recognized at this time; now,
  therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas
  Legislature hereby commend Keric Donahue-Perez on his honesty and
  integrity and extend to him sincere best wishes for the future; and,
  be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for Keric Donahue-Perez as an expression of high regard by
  the Texas House of Representatives.
