R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Municipal Judge Raymond Britton was recognized by |
|
|
the Bruceville-Eddy City Council in January 2015 for his efforts to |
|
|
benefit McLennan County; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Judge Britton worked tirelessly to establish new |
|
|
programs that will identify delinquent ticket payers who have left |
|
|
the state and still owe fines to the court; he also helped with the |
|
|
development of new software programs designed to track citations |
|
|
and amounts owed, as well as how they fit into McLennan County's |
|
|
budget plans; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, The Lone Star State is fortunate to have passionate |
|
|
and engaged residents like Judge Raymond Britton, whose civic |
|
|
involvement is an inspiration to all who know him; now, therefore, |
|
|
be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby commend Raymond Britton for his contributions to |
|
|
McLennan County and extend to him sincere best wishes for the |
|
|
future; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Judge Britton as an expression of high regard by the |
|
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
