R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Payton Herzog of Robinson took top honors in two |
|
|
livestock categories at the 2014 State Fair of Texas Youth Market |
|
|
Shows; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, An eighth-grade student at Robinson Junior High |
|
|
School, Payton is a member of the McLennan County 4-H Club; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, This impressive young man captured the Champion |
|
|
Heavyweight British Steer crown and then won Grand Champion Overall |
|
|
Steer with his steer, Buzz; for his efforts, Payton received |
|
|
$30,000 of the record $112,000 bid; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Payton Herzog has demonstrated outstanding |
|
|
dedication and ability in raising his champion animal, and he may |
|
|
indeed take great pride in his hard work and determination; now, |
|
|
therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Payton Herzog on his outstanding |
|
|
success at the 2014 State Fair of Texas Youth Market Shows and |
|
|
extend to him sincere best wishes for the future; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Payton Herzog as an expression of high regard by the |
|
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
