R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
WHEREAS, Family and friends will long cherish their memories |
|
of Sharon Keeney-Black of Salado, who passed away on October 29, |
|
2014, at the age of 72; and |
|
WHEREAS, Born in Waukesha, Wisconsin, on July 15, 1942, to |
|
Robert and Lenore Heidersheid, she graduated from Alverno College |
|
in Milwaukee and earned a master's degree from Texas A&M |
|
University; she went on to enjoy a notable career in administration |
|
with the Texas Disability Commission before her retirement; and |
|
WHEREAS, Devoted to her family, Mrs. Keeney-Black shared a |
|
rewarding relationship with her husband, Ira, and she took great |
|
pride in her children, Christa and Michael; and |
|
WHEREAS, Sharon Keeney-Black lived a caring and purposeful |
|
life, and she will forever be remembered with admiration and |
|
affection by all who held her close to their hearts; now, therefore, |
|
be it |
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas |
|
Legislature hereby pay tribute to the memory of Sharon Keeney-Black |
|
and extend sincere condolences to the members of her family: to her |
|
husband, Lieutenant Colonel Ira W. Black Jr.; to her children, |
|
Christa Griffith and Michael Eisenmenger; to her sister, Patricia |
|
Feavel; to her nephews, Seth, Robert, and Dennis Ostrander; to her |
|
niece, Elizabeth Richards; to her cousins in Wisconsin and Ireland; |
|
and to her other relatives and many friends; and, be it further |
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
prepared for her family and that when the Texas House of |
|
Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Sharon |
|
Keeney-Black. |
