H.R. No. 1350
 
 
 
R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, Martha Y. Reyes has greatly benefited the youth of
  her community through her service as a member of the Ysleta
  Independent School District Board of Trustees; and
         WHEREAS, A native of El Paso, Ms. Reyes is serving her fourth
  term as the District 6 trustee; she currently holds the position of
  board secretary and has previously served as president and vice
  president; she is a proud graduate of Ysleta High School and has
  been recognized by the institution as an Honored Ex; and
         WHEREAS, Ms. Reyes has served on the Texas Association of
  School Boards since 2008; during her tenure, she has co-chaired the
  Budget and Finance Committee and been selected as a delegate to the
  Federal Relations Network in Washington, D.C.; and
         WHEREAS, Martha Reyes has demonstrated a steadfast
  commitment to building a bright and promising future for local
  children, and in so doing, she has earned the deep respect and
  appreciation of her fellow Texans; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas
  Legislature hereby honor Martha Y. Reyes for her service as an
  Ysleta ISD board trustee and extend to her sincere best wishes for
  the future; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for Ms. Reyes as an expression of high regard by the Texas
  House of Representatives.
