R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Cynthia Ann Najera has greatly benefited the youth |
|
|
of her community through her efforts in behalf of the Socorro |
|
|
Independent School District; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, The mother of two daughters educated in Socorro ISD |
|
|
schools, Ms. Najera is a former parent liaison for Horizon Heights |
|
|
Elementary School and volunteer coordinator for Horizon Heights and |
|
|
Americas High School; she currently serves as a district volunteer |
|
|
and is also a member of the Kiwanis Club of Horizon City; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Cynthia Ann Najera has demonstrated a steadfast |
|
|
commitment to building a bright and promising future for local |
|
|
children, and in so doing, she has earned the deep respect and |
|
|
appreciation of her fellow Texans; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby honor Cynthia Ann Najera for her work with |
|
|
Socorro ISD and extend to her sincere best wishes for the future; |
|
|
and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Ms. Najera as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
