R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Angelica Rodriguez has greatly benefited the youth |
|
of her community through her service as an educator with the Clint |
|
Independent School District; and |
|
WHEREAS, A graduate of The University of Texas at El Paso, |
|
where she earned both her bachelor's and master's degrees, |
|
Ms. Rodriguez began her career as a special education teacher with |
|
Socorro ISD; she went on to spend six years as an education |
|
diagnostician before taking her current position as associate |
|
director of special education for Clint ISD; and |
|
WHEREAS, Ms. Rodriguez is also employed as an online |
|
facilitator for the University of Phoenix, and she is a member of |
|
the Texas Educational Diagnosticians' Association, the Texas |
|
Association of Vocational Adjustment Coordinators, and the Texas |
|
Association of Environmental Professionals; and |
|
WHEREAS, Angelica Rodriguez has demonstrated a steadfast |
|
commitment to building a bright and promising future for local |
|
children, and in so doing, she has earned the deep respect and |
|
appreciation of her fellow Texans; now, therefore, be it |
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas |
|
Legislature hereby honor Angelica Rodriguez for her service as |
|
associate director of special education for Clint ISD and extend to |
|
her sincere best wishes for the future; and, be it further |
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
prepared for Ms. Rodriguez as an expression of high regard by the |
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
