R E S O L U T I O N
 
         WHEREAS, Angelica Rodriguez has greatly benefited the youth
  of her community through her service as an educator with the Clint
  Independent School District; and
         WHEREAS, A graduate of The University of Texas at El Paso,
  where she earned both her bachelor's and master's degrees,
  Ms. Rodriguez began her career as a special education teacher with
  Socorro ISD; she went on to spend six years as an education
  diagnostician before taking her current position as associate
  director of special education for Clint ISD; and
         WHEREAS, Ms. Rodriguez is also employed as an online
  facilitator for the University of Phoenix, and she is a member of
  the Texas Educational Diagnosticians' Association, the Texas
  Association of Vocational Adjustment Coordinators, and the Texas
  Association of Environmental Professionals; and
         WHEREAS, Angelica Rodriguez has demonstrated a steadfast
  commitment to building a bright and promising future for local
  children, and in so doing, she has earned the deep respect and
  appreciation of her fellow Texans; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas
  Legislature hereby honor Angelica Rodriguez for her service as
  associate director of special education for Clint ISD and extend to
  her sincere best wishes for the future; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for Ms. Rodriguez as an expression of high regard by the
  Texas House of Representatives.
