R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Paul Guerra has greatly benefited the youth of his |
|
|
community through his service as a member of the Socorro |
|
|
Independent School District Board of Trustees; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, A graduate of The University of Texas at El Paso and |
|
|
former Canutillo ISD teacher, Mr. Guerra has previously served |
|
|
Socorro ISD on the Citizens Oversight Committee; his wife, Ann, |
|
|
teaches in the district at Sanchez Middle School, and their |
|
|
children are students at SISD's Hueco Elementary School; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Mr. Guerra has 16 years' experience in the field of |
|
|
heating, cooling, and plumbing sales and management, and he is |
|
|
currently employed as a sales manager with MCU Marketing; he is a |
|
|
member of the City of Socorro Planning and Zoning Committee and the |
|
|
Socorro Foundation Board of Directors; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Paul Guerra has demonstrated a steadfast commitment |
|
|
to building a bright and promising future for local children, and in |
|
|
so doing, he has earned the deep respect and appreciation of his |
|
|
fellow Texans; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby honor Paul Guerra for his service as a Socorro |
|
|
ISD board trustee and extend to him sincere best wishes for the |
|
|
future; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. Guerra as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
