R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, The certain knowledge of a life well lived may |
|
comfort those saddened by the passing of Nancy A. Castillo of |
|
Robstown on November 14, 2014, at the age of 66; and |
|
WHEREAS, A Robstown native, the former Nancy Figueroa was |
|
born on October 29, 1948, to Venancio and Luisa Figueroa; she was a |
|
loving mother to her two children, Robert and Kimberly, and she took |
|
great pride in her four grandchildren; and |
|
WHEREAS, Ms. Castillo was a devout Catholic, and she also |
|
gave generously of her time as a classroom teacher assistant at |
|
Lotspeich Elementary School, as a Parent Involvement Liaison at |
|
Ortiz Intermediate School, and as a volunteer with the Robstown |
|
High School Band; and |
|
WHEREAS, Nancy Castillo lived a caring and purposeful life, |
|
and she will forever be remembered with deep affection by all who |
|
held her close to their hearts; now, therefore, be it |
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas |
|
Legislature hereby pay tribute to the memory of Nancy A. Castillo |
|
and extend sincere sympathy to the members of her family: to her |
|
children, Robert Michael Costante and Kimberly Rae Sonnier; to her |
|
brothers, Venancio Figueroa Jr. and Ruben B. Figueroa; to her |
|
sisters, Elsa Hinojosa and Eva Figueroa Rodriguez; to her |
|
grandchildren; to her nieces and nephews; and to her other |
|
relatives and friends; and, be it further |
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
prepared for her family and that when the Texas House of |
|
Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Nancy A. |
|
Castillo. |
