R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Monty and Mary Rodgers of Van are celebrating their |
|
|
50th wedding anniversary on February 7, 2015, and they may indeed |
|
|
reflect with joy on the rewarding relationship they have shared; |
|
|
and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Rodgers exchanged the vows of |
|
|
matrimony in Talco in 1965, and over the course of their marriage, |
|
|
they have found in each other a loving life partner; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, The couple count among their blessings a fine family |
|
|
that includes their children, Amy Pringle and Neill Rodgers, with |
|
|
whom they treasure sharing many special occasions; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, For half a century, Monty and Mary Rodgers have |
|
|
brought to their marriage laughter, kindness, and devotion, and it |
|
|
is a pleasure to honor them for their enduring commitment; now, |
|
|
therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Monty and Mary Rodgers on their |
|
|
golden wedding anniversary and extend to them sincere best wishes |
|
|
for continued happiness; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Rodgers as an expression of high regard |
|
|
by the Texas House of Representatives. |
