R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, December 31, 2014, marked the 50th wedding |
|
|
anniversary of Rudy and Lana Kirby of Grand Saline and a wonderful |
|
|
milestone in a life happily shared; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, A golden wedding anniversary is a celebration of |
|
|
love that has stood the test of time, and five decades after that |
|
|
special day in 1964, Rudy and Lana Kirby continue to bring out the |
|
|
best in one another and to inspire all who share in the richness of |
|
|
their lives; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, For half a century, this Texas couple have brought |
|
|
to their marriage laughter, kindness, and devotion, and it is a |
|
|
pleasure to honor them for their enduring commitment; now, |
|
|
therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Rudy and Lana Kirby on their 50th |
|
|
wedding anniversary and extend to them sincere best wishes for |
|
|
continued happiness; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Kirby as an expression of high regard by |
|
|
the Texas House of Representatives. |
