R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Donald and Donna Money of Greenville celebrated |
|
|
their 50th wedding anniversary on January 8, 2015, and they may |
|
|
indeed reflect with joy on the rewarding relationship they have |
|
|
shared; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, On that memorable day in 1965, Donald Jerry Money |
|
|
and the former Donna Lee Ely exchanged the vows of matrimony in |
|
|
Anaheim, California, and over the course of their marriage, they |
|
|
have found in each other a loving life partner; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Money count among their blessings a |
|
|
fine family that includes their children, Carl Money and his wife, |
|
|
Frances, Devin Money and his wife, Jeannie, Daren Money and his |
|
|
wife, Angie, and Debbie Raney and her husband, Tony; over the |
|
|
decades, the couple have also welcomed into their family 12 |
|
|
grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren, with whom they treasure |
|
|
spending many special occasions; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, For half a century, Donald Jerry and Donna Lee Money |
|
|
have brought to their marriage laughter, kindness, and devotion, |
|
|
and it is a pleasure to honor them for their enduring commitment; |
|
|
now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Donald and Donna Money on their |
|
|
golden wedding anniversary and extend to them sincere best wishes |
|
|
for continued happiness; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for the couple as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
