R E S O L U T I O N

|
WHEREAS, Burnet High School teacher Karen Melton was named |
|
|
the Educator of the Year at the Burnet Chamber of Commerce annual |
|
|
awards banquet on February 7, 2015; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Each year, the Burnet chamber recognizes |
|
|
individuals and businesses for their outstanding achievements and |
|
|
for their efforts to benefit the local community; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Through her exceptional contributions, Karen Melton |
|
|
has furthered Burnet's reputation as a great place to live, work, |
|
|
and raise a family, and she is indeed deserving of this notable |
|
|
honor; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Karen Melton on her selection as |
|
|
the Educator of the Year by the Burnet Chamber of Commerce and |
|
|
extend to her sincere best wishes for continued success; and, be it |
|
|
further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Ms. Melton as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
