R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Jasper VFW Post No. 6380 has set an inspiring |
|
|
example of charitable giving by making a generous donation to five |
|
|
local fire departments; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Members of VFW Post No. 6380 raised $20,000 to |
|
|
support the Jasper and Lake Rayburn Fire Departments and the |
|
|
Angelina River, East End, and Tri-Community Volunteer Fire |
|
|
Departments; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Through its admirable support, Jasper VFW Post |
|
|
No. 6380 has made a meaningful difference in surrounding |
|
|
communities, and it is truly a pleasure to honor its noteworthy |
|
|
contributions; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby commend Jasper VFW Post No. 6380 for its |
|
|
philanthropic efforts and extend to all those associated with the |
|
|
organization sincere best wishes for the future; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for the group as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
