R E S O L U T I O N
|

|
|
WHEREAS, Cade Skuza of Jasper High School distinguished |
|
|
himself by winning first place in the Boys B singles division of the |
|
|
Legacy High School Tennis Tournament, held on March 6, 2015, in |
|
|
Beaumont; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, A sophomore, Mr. Skuza claimed the tournament crown |
|
|
with an impressive performance that saw him defeat five opponents |
|
|
from other area schools; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, This determined athlete won three of his first four |
|
|
matches by a comfortable margin, with his victory over Saalik |
|
|
Dhanani of Nederland being the only close contest; he then finished |
|
|
the tournament with a 6-3, 6-2 triumph in the finals; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Through his skill and dedication to excellence, Cade |
|
|
Skuza has established himself as a high school tennis player of |
|
|
great promise, and he may take justifiable pride in his |
|
|
achievement; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Cade Skuza on his first place |
|
|
finish at the Legacy High School Tennis Tournament and extend to him |
|
|
sincere best wishes for continued success; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. Skuza as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
