R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Dewie and Janice Free of Livingston celebrated their |
|
|
50th wedding anniversary on March 10, 2015, and they may indeed |
|
|
reflect with joy on the rewarding relationship they have shared; |
|
|
and |
|
|
WHEREAS, On that memorable day in 1965, Mr. and Mrs. Free |
|
|
exchanged the vows of matrimony in Lufkin, and over the course of |
|
|
their marriage, they have found in each other a loving life partner; |
|
|
and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Over the years, Mr. and Mrs. Free became the parents |
|
|
of three children, Dewie Free and his wife, Paula, Shirl Takahashi |
|
|
and her husband, Bryon, and the late Michael Free; today, their |
|
|
family has grown to include eight grandchildren and nine |
|
|
great-grandchildren, with whom they treasure spending many special |
|
|
occasions; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, For half a century, Dewie and Janice Free have |
|
|
brought to their marriage laughter, kindness, and devotion, and it |
|
|
is a pleasure to honor them for their enduring commitment; now, |
|
|
therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Dewie and Janice Free on their 50th |
|
|
wedding anniversary and extend to them sincere best wishes for the |
|
|
future; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for the couple as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
