R E S O L U T I O N

|
WHEREAS, A solid education provides young Texans with the |
|
|
tools they need to become successful and productive adults, and |
|
|
those men and women who dedicate their careers to teaching are |
|
|
helping to ensure that the future of the Lone Star State rests in |
|
|
capable hands; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Serving as role models, motivators, listeners, and |
|
|
mentors, the best teachers bring to the classroom creativity, |
|
|
energy, and resourcefulness, inspiring in their students a love of |
|
|
learning that will serve them well throughout their lives; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, The retired teachers of House District 43 have |
|
|
demonstrated a steadfast commitment to building a bright and |
|
|
promising future for local children, and in so doing, they have |
|
|
earned the deep respect and appreciation of their fellow Texans; |
|
|
now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby honor former educators from Bee, Kleberg, Jim |
|
|
Wells, and San Patricio Counties for their invaluable contributions |
|
|
to the community and extend to them sincere best wishes for |
|
|
continued happiness. |
