R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Madi Burke, a student at Livingston Intermediate |
|
|
School, excelled at the University Interscholastic League academic |
|
|
meet during the 2014-2015 school year; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Participating in the dictionary skills competition, |
|
|
Madi earned sixth place honors, and her accomplishment is a source |
|
|
of great pride to her family and to her fellow students at her |
|
|
school; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, This notable young Texan has pursued her goals with |
|
|
skill and dedication, and she may indeed look forward to a future |
|
|
bright with promise; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Madi Burke on her success in UIL |
|
|
academic competition and extend to her sincere best wishes for |
|
|
continued achievement; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Madi Burke as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
