R E S O L U T I O N
 
         WHEREAS, Lumberton High School senior Lauren Glover has
  signed a national letter of intent to play soccer and study at Lamar
  University; and
         WHEREAS, The daughter of proud parents Dack and Melissa
  Glover, Lauren Glover has lettered for four years as a midfielder on
  the Lady Raiders soccer team; over that time, she has helped the
  squad compile an impressive record of 78 wins, 11 losses, and 10
  ties and claim three district titles and four postseason berths;
  earning well-deserved recognition for her inspired play on the
  field, she has been named to the All-District Team four times and
  was selected to the All-Region Team during her junior year; and
         WHEREAS, Ms. Glover has further distinguished herself as a
  four-year veteran of the varsity volleyball team, which has posted
  a 92-56 record, captured a district title, and made three playoff
  appearances during her tenure; moreover, this fierce outside hitter
  was awarded All-State honors in her sophomore and senior years and
  was designated the Most Valuable Player of the Beaumont Enterprise
  Super Gold Volleyball Team in 2013; and
         WHEREAS, A gifted and dedicated student-athlete, Lauren
  Glover is sure to realize further success as a member of the Lamar
  Cardinals, and she is a source of great pride for her classmates and
  for the many supporters of Lumberton High athletics; now,
  therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas
  Legislature hereby congratulate Lauren Glover on signing a national
  letter of intent to play for the Lamar University women's soccer
  team and extend to her sincere best wishes for the future; and, be
  it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for Ms. Glover as an expression of high regard by the Texas
  House of Representatives.
